These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Calcitra mobile application ("the app", "Calcitra"). By downloading, installing, or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Eligibility
The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. By using it you confirm you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and able to form a binding agreement.
2. Licence to use the app
Colligo Infotech grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Google Play terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code except where permitted by law; (b) copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app or its content; (c) misuse, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app or its backend services; or (d) use the app for any unlawful purpose.
4. Purchases, subscriptions & free trials
The app is free to use with ads. Optional Calcitra Pro features and ad removal are available as one-time purchases and/or auto-renewing subscriptions, sold and processed by Google Play.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless
cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless you
cancel before the trial ends.
- Manage or cancel anytime in Google Play → Subscriptions; you keep access
until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its policies; we do not process
payments and cannot issue store refunds directly.
5. Advertising
The free version displays advertising provided by Google AdMob. Buying Pro or Remove Ads removes advertising. Ads are subject to Google's policies and, where required, your consent choices.
6. Your content
Where the app lets you create content (for example, custom calculators) or sync data (favourites, history) via optional Cloud Sync, you retain ownership of that content. You grant Colligo Infotech a limited licence to store, process, and transmit it solely to provide the feature to you. You are responsible for the content you create and must not include unlawful material.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its design, code, branding, and all explanatory content are owned by Colligo Infotech and protected by law. Calculator formulas are standard public methods and are not claimed as proprietary; the original text, presentation, and software are ours. No rights are granted except as expressly stated here.
8. Disclaimer & accuracy
Calcitra is provided for general informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute professional financial, tax, legal, medical, health, engineering, or other advice. Results are estimates and may be inaccurate or unsuitable for your situation. See the in-app Disclaimer for full details. Always verify results independently and consult a qualified professional.
9. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Colligo Infotech and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or its results. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Colligo Infotech from claims arising out of your misuse of the app or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Third-party services
The app relies on third-party services including Google Play, Google AdMob, Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics), and Supabase. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
13. Privacy
Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy, available in the app and at our website. By using the app you also agree to that policy.
14. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the app. Provisions that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of India shall have jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law grants you rights in your country of residence.
